Strong And Powerful Design

The Prescient Edge tagline "The Strength of Knowledge. The Power of Experience.," served as a perfect source of design inspiration for the Palm Tree team.  Art Director, Spencer Mahar, created a bold and industrial looking front-end design with a strong color palette of dark grays accented by a deep green.  Every element from the typefaces to the large header images echoed the ideals of strength and power.  The end result was a website design that perfectly represented Prescient Edge and was still inviting and pleasurable to browse.

Packed With State-Of-The-Art GoSystems Apps

The Prescient Edge website is powered by Palm Tree's proprietary content management system, GoSystems 4.0, and packed full of custom built apps.  With Prescient Edge's reputation for innovative technology solutions, they were pleasantly surprised that they are not only ones with this reputation and thoroughly impressed with Palm Tree's creative use of technology.  Some of Prescient Edge's favorite apps include the Homepage Accordion which enables their staff to easily add, edit, or remove any of the key services from the Homepage and the Contact Requests app that completely streamlines the sales inquiry process. 

Increasing Prescient Edge's Search Engine Visibility

With Palm Tree's GoSystem platform controlling the website, clean, dynamic, and relevant title tags, URL strings, and description tags are automatically produced for each page of the Prescient Edge website.  Their staff also has the capability of tweaking these automatically generated SEO elements as they see fit right within the GoSystem.  Since this project was a re-design of Prescient Edge's previous website, an important step in the process was to create and implement a list of permenant 301 redirects to send visitors from the URLs of the old site to the corresponding page locations on the new site.  These redirects protect them against 404 errors from sites that link to pages on the previous website. 301 redirects also alert search engines that they can stop indexing the old URLs and update their results with the new ones.
